Small round trip through Dorsten
From the train station in Dorsten, this short cycle tour takes you over almost 30 kilometers to some interesting sights in Dorsten. It goes at the glider airfield and on Wesel-Datteln Canal along to the lock in Dorsten and into Storkland. In the Hervest break you can also watch water buffalo and heck cattle. The tour then takes you past the Tüshaus mill and small streams to the Blue Lake.
Cycling along the railway line and along the Lippe
Then the tour takes you along the Hammbach and across wide fields to the Bahntrassenradweg Hamburg-Venloer railway. Finally it goes to the Lippeauen and over the dike back towards the center. At the Leisure pool Atlantis the tour leads to the center of Dorsten. The short detour to the Jewish Museum of Westphalia, before you deny the last few meters back to the starting point at the train station. The entire route is continuously signposted with D2 – small yellow signs.
