You cycle from Recklinghausen-Süd train station Rhine-Herne Canal along to Waltrop. The historical one Ship lift Henrichenburg is one of the big highlights along the way. A bike ride through the former lock chamber as well as a visit to the attached museum should be on your program. We continue to Castrop-Rauxel to the Schwerin dump. This is followed by a section with a lot of mining history with the Erin collieries, Zollern, Hanover and Ewald.
