Bike tour for beginners around Kamen

The "Beginner's bike tour around Kamen" is a nice little circular tour that runs almost exclusively on bike paths away from traffic for 17 kilometers. With the works of art on the Seseke-Weg, the tour is a good short bike trip, especially for culture lovers.

Bike tour for beginners from Haus Ripshorst to the RS 1

This short 18-kilometer tour starts right at Haus Ripshorst in Oberhausen. Over a short stretch of the former HOAG railway, the tour takes you via the junction system through the Hexbachtal in the direction of Mülheim an der Ruhr. The rural Ruhr area can be wonderfully experienced here.

Family bike tour around Zollverein

This almost 11-kilometer short bike trip around the UNESCO World Heritage Site Zollverein in Essen is particularly suitable for families with children. The route takes you via the junction system, first at the striking Sanaa building via the Nordsternweg from the site. Away from traffic, the tour leads in a beautiful loop past allotments to the Tripple ZZZ site.

Small Bochum bike tour 

This 18-kilometer circular route takes you from Bochum main station to the Weitmar Castle Park. At least 135 meters in altitude have to be mastered on the short stretch. First, the tour runs from the train station through the center of Bochum to the West Park with the beautiful Bochum Centennial Hall.

The Haard is the largest contiguous forest area in the radrevier.ruhr. Located south of Haltern am See, it is ideal for exploring by bike. This almost 21-kilometer round gives you a first entry into the Haard.

Small bike tour through the north of Duisburg

From the Landscape Park Duisburg-Nord, this 26-kilometer loop takes you through the north of Duisburg. The tour first leads towards Oberhausen via the Green Path, an old railway line that has been expanded into a wonderful cycle path.

This 20-kilometer bike tour starts at the main station in Hamm and takes you first to the Lippedamm, which runs between the Datteln-Hamm Canal and the Lippe. The tour leads over the beautiful, white bridges past the Radbod heap to the beautiful Radbod colliery with three scaffolds.

This almost 24 km long round offers pure nature experience. From the parking lot in front of the Heidesee, the route initially runs along the lake shore. Only a few kilometers further you drive through the Elsbachsee, another extraordinary natural idyll, which is still in the "process of formation" due to mountain subsidence caused by coal mining.

Short bike tour through the east of Dortmund

Over 22,5 kilometers, this short beginner's bike tour takes you from the Phoenix West area to the popular Phoenix Lake. You can see the Emscher in front of you, but quickly turn off onto a cycle path that first leads north and later eastwards via a railway line that has been developed into a cycle path.

From Herne to the Henrichenburg ship lift

This bike tour takes you 35 kilometers from Herne to the Henrichenburg ship lift in Waltrop. From the train station in Herne, you first walk through the city park to the former Mont Cenis colliery. A short time later, the route leads through the beautiful Teutoburgia colliery settlement in Herne.
