Experience the RevierRoute Zweistromland – Lippe and Seseke

Between Lünen and Kamen, deep in the east of the Ruhr area, the RevierRoute "Zweistromland" awaits you. The eponymous rivers will accompany you with their impressive flora and fauna for almost 50 kilometers throughout the tour. By the way: did you know that the Lippe is the longest river in all of NRW?

Discover the beauty of the water landscape by bike

The route starts and ends at the main train station in Lünen. From there you first ride along the Lippe through the beautiful floodplain landscape of East Westphalia. When you cross the Datteln-Hamm Canal reached, go to Horstmar lake park. In summer you can refresh yourself with a dip in the cool water. The bike tour continues along the Seseke to Kamen.

Bahnstrassenradeln and Halden view

on the former Klöcknerbahn you cycle away from the traffic to the marina Marina Ruenthe. After a short break at the port, we head up to the Stockpile of large wood. As with all heaps in the Ruhr area, you can let your gaze wander over the Ruhr area and enjoy the great view. Of course you can also skip the ascent to the heap and continue cycling along the canal. Towards the end of the RevierRoute you return to the Lippe and end your tour in Lünen.
