The RevierRoute elephant tour - experience the Börde
Are you ready for the elephant round? The RevierRoute, the longest at around 68 kilometers, runs across wide meadows and fields in the eastern Ruhr area. On this tour, the journey is the goal. Relaxed cycling, just clear your head and leave the stress and hectic pace of everyday life behind.
River, canal and marina
The starting point of the tour is the main train station in Hamm. From there it goes for you between the Lippe and the Datteln-Hamm Canal westward. Just before the marina Marina Ruenthe in Bergkamen you cycle south towards Unna.
Visit to the Maxipark Hamm
Auf dem avenue cycle path then drive east to the border of the radrevier.ruhr. You will be able to experience the beauty of rural Westphalia on your journey back to Hamm. The Maximilian Park is the highlight of the tour. There you can marvel at the glowing glass elephant (don't forget your camera!) and enjoy the time with your family. Also the graduation house in the spa park and the Maximum adventure thermal bath are worth a visit.
