Short bike tour through the east of Dortmund
This short introductory bike tour takes you over 22,5 kilometers from the Phoenix West site to Phoenix Lake . You'll see the Emscher River ahead, but quickly turn onto a bike path that initially heads north and later continues east along a former railway line converted into a bike path.
Via former railway lines to your destination
In Asseln you reach the turning point of the tour. From here, the route heads west along what is soon to be upgraded to the RS 1 cycle route. In Körne, the route joins the Bananenradweg (Banana Cycle Path), a former railway line also converted into a cycle path. This leads you south, away from road traffic, to the Phoenix West site, the starting point of the cycle tour.
