Finally, the route branches off to the left behind a railway underpass. South of the Altenessen cemetery, the tour now leads you west to the Carl colliery. Through the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Park we continue away from the traffic to the south. Via the Helenendamm you cycle briefly on a bike path next to the road, before the route turns left again in an easterly direction at the Kokerei Zollverein back to the starting point of the tour.

Note on the discovery tours in the radrevier.ruhr

This tour is one of the discovery tours im radrevier.ruhr. This means that it also leads along cycle paths that are not part of the region's figureheads. However, accepting compromises in the quality of the cycle path also means being able to “experience” “undiscovered” tours off the popular and often heavily frequented cycle paths. Is a good path condition important to you? Then you should rather come to our 15 RevierRoutes drop by!
