Along the canal into the Haard

From the hiking car park in Flaesheim, the circuit takes you north to the Wesel-Datteln Canal. On the north side of the canal, you can cycle eastwards in a relaxed manner away from the traffic. Via Ahsener Allee you return to the southern side of the canal and past the "Ahsener Heide" holiday camp into the Haard.

Back to the starting point

After a left turn, the tour takes you past the Farnberg southwards to the Haard Grenzweg. Passing the "Mother Wehner" restaurant, you head north again below the Dachsberg. The charcoal burner's shelter is the last attraction before you reach the parking lot at the starting point.

Note on the discovery tours in the radrevier.ruhr

This tour is one of the discovery tours im radrevier.ruhr. This means that it also leads along cycle paths that are not part of the region's figureheads. However, accepting compromises in the quality of the cycle path also means being able to “experience” “undiscovered” tours off the popular and often heavily frequented cycle paths. Is a good path condition important to you? Then you should rather come to our 15 RevierRoutes drop by!
