For the perfect cycling holiday experience, we have developed four travel ideas for you, with which you can start your own personal cycling expedition from home and get to know the cycling area from a new perspective. Experience the north with the Roman Lippe Route or the south with that Ruhr Valley Cycle Path – both surprisingly combined as a small round trip. Make your way over the circuit of the Industrial heritage route by bike or ride around the entire Pott - with the RuhrtalRadweg, Rheinradweg, Römer-Lippe-Route and through the radrevier.ruhr!

Holiday idea 3: A long bike weekend (2 nights / 3 days)

A classic to experience a short cycling holiday without vacation days. If you can finish work early on Friday and get to the Ruhr area quickly, you can still do a first introductory tour on Friday. Classic all-day tours follow on Saturday and Sunday and you can look back on an eventful cycling weekend.

And you have the choice of making a short round trip or going on exciting day trips from a fixed accommodation without a lot of luggage. We have worked out a little bit of both travel ideas for you.
