The RuhrtalRadweg - 240 kilometers of cycling adventure along the Ruhr

The 240 km long RuhrtalRadweg follows the Ruhr from its source in Sauerland to its confluence with the Rhine in Duisburg. The bike tour is a "4-star quality bike route" awarded by the ADFC, which combines nature and culture and invites you to discover the Ruhr area. The cycle tour along the Ruhr lasts between three and five days. The landscape impresses with its tranquility and gentleness as well as the high degree of adventure and variety. 

Exciting experiences and hospitality along the way

There are many sights along the route, so there are numerous opportunities to combine the bike tour with visits to museums, industrial culture, castles, musicals or shopping. The accessibility of the RuhrtalRadweg is easy for cyclists: Both by car and by train, the start and finish are easy to reach. The path is well signposted throughout. Many certified bett+bike establishments cyclists are particularly welcome.
