The starting and ending point of this approximately 52-kilometer tour is the train station in Dorsten. From there, you'll cycle towards Bottrop, passing through the Kirchheller Heide, one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Ruhr region. The route continues past expansive fields to Hünxe, before you reach the historic village of Krudenburg , which offers numerous photo opportunities, by following the Wesel-Datteln Canal and the Lippe River.
Final sprint on former railway lines
After crossing the Wesel-Datteln Canal in Hünxe, the RevierRoute “Landpartie” runs along the well-developed former railway line Haltern-Wesel-Venlo through Schermbeck and leads you back to the train station in Dorsten via the Lippe dike.
