On Hoppenbruch dump there are several downhill-oriented trails that are well maintained by the Herten Freeride Club. Whether blue, red or black trails - there is something for every taste on Hoppenbruch. Big jumps and steep berms - the more demanding trails on Hoppenbruch in particular require very good riding technique and a good deal of courage. In return, they offer the best enduro fun with Ruhrpott charm. The jumpline has the most airtime. Especially on nice weekends, the enduro trails on the Hoppenbruch heap have developed into a nationally popular mountain bike area.
