Gravel in the Ruhr area - Gravel tour through the Kirchheller Heide

For friends of gravel bikes and cyclists who like to take easy terrain under their cleats is also an option the Kirchheller Heide in the north-west of the radrevier.ruhr. A number of dirt roads run through the Kirchheller Heide. This circuit, almost 53 kilometers long, starts near the Center Oberhausen, more precisely on Visitor Center Haus Ripshorst, and takes you right through the impressive natural and cultural landscape. About the Jacobibahn to the big mountain classification of this tour

From Centro Oberhausen the route leads past the Olga Park to the railway cycle path Jacobibahn. This will lead you to Haniel dump in Bottrop, the big mountain classification of this tour. Of course you can also drive around the heap, but then you will miss a particularly worthwhile view. After descending a wide forest path, the tour leads into the Kirchheller Heide.
